The dosing cam on the RTP 41 is used to adjust the weight of the tablet that you are producing. This is adjusted through the fill adjustment on the left hand side of the press.
The dosing cam for the RTP 41 Rotary Tablet Press is designed to be a wear part to protect the investment you have made in your tooling. Over time, it will get worn down. Signs of this will include inconsistent tablet weights and the inability to achieve smaller doses. You might also be able to see the wear on the cam itself.
