Fill Tray - RTP 9

The RTP 9 Fill Tray from LFA Tablet Presses is an original spare part for your RTP 9 Rotary Tablet Press. Made from brass and designed to ware to avoid damaging your turret or tooling this part will need to be changed from time to time.

It is simple to install and can be done by just removing two hand screws from your RTP 9.

If you find that you are getting excessive powder loss from your RTP 9 this may be one of the reasons. Other reasons can include, extremely fine powders, the height of your hopper being too high or your fill tray being set incorrectly.

If you are unsure if you need to change your fill try there are a number of simple ways to check.

1) Remove from your rotary tablet press and inspect the bottom for obvious signs of damage.

2) make sure that the bottom of the fill tray is true and completely flat. Do this by taking a straight edge and running along it looking for gaps bigger than a sheet of paper.

3) Make sure that the bridges in the fill tray still have at least 2mm of clearance.
