TDP 5 Version

Finding out if your machine is a version 1 or version 2 TDP 5 is quite simple. On the top back of your machine, you will see a metal plate, this is where the machine serial number is. If the serial number starts with AEAA, you have a version 1 TDP 5. If the serial number starts with AEBA, you have a version 2.

The Upper Drift Pin Assembly Mounting Block is the section on the front of the TDP 5 held in place by 3 large allan key bolts.

In side this sits the Upper Drift Pin Assembly and the lower drift pin assembly timing bar.

It is very unlikely that you will ever have major issues with this section of your press from LFA. If you are having some problems try removing each of the bots and applying a health does of “Lock Tight” to make sure that the bolts are not coming lose.
